Hello friends,

This thread is to enquire about your daily routine during this lockdown, when the world is suffering from this huge pandemic.

In India, our lockdown was supposed to be lasting till 3rd May, however, there was a circular from the Home Ministry yesterday which extended the lockdown till the 17th of May.

It's only a sequence of continuously staying at home. Well, it isn't that pleasant as it seems to be. You know, now there's an awkward desire building up to break free from the lockdown and just go out, well ... Sadly that ain't possible. However, it's simply too boring and annoying to stay at home, month after month. :B

So ... I thought let's discuss about what's our routine changes during the lockdown, and how the pandemic has influenced this routine.

Talking about myself, well I'm a student and I must say, that COVID brought no relief at all for students. My life is continuing in it's usual pace and possibly worse than before. Four hours of continuous classes in the morning, that's the school's. It's too strenuous to be honest.

As if that's not enough, I've my coaching classes in the evening, with heck lots of assignments from both the ends. Hence, there's been very little impact in my life due to COVID and in fact, I hardly find time for myself throughout the day. :(

Only on Saturdays and Sundays, we don't have the school classes and that's so relieving. :)

Let me know what's up in your daily lives owing to the pandemic.

Regards,

Hello Friends,

Covid-19 has drastically impacted my lifestyle and my daily routine.;)
Usually, before Covid - 19 , I had no time at all to find time, for my hobbies and talents, between the tight schedules of my schools, tuition , self-study, etc...
But Because of this lock down, nowadays I get more time to myself and my needs. I now, get a chance to explore different hobbies and talents.
Even though I am not able to move out of my house and walk freely, the immense opportunities that can be pursued inside a home is Infinite ∞.

Well, Being a student myself, I too agree with sohamb03 on the huge load of assignments and studies to be done. But I think this pandemic has helped me to spend some time for myself and also with my family. I have now started learning programming languages and writing stories (a hobby of mine) which was not possible during my previous tight schedules before Covid-19.

Let me know too, How Covid-19 has created an impacted on your daily lifestyle.:giggle:

Regards,

I cant say anything about the daily schedule because its like before.
I wakeup then i have to study because my school isn't cancelled then i go to sleep 🤷 .
This doesn't count as a covid routine tbh but how can i change my routine if CoVID didn't cancel my exams/school??

Well, neither did COVID cancel our schools. We are still having online classes at school and coaching. And getting tons of home work to solve. ;)

Just imagine 750,000 student in the same day, same hour.

Well ... that's bad. 750 thousand students giving exams together at the time of COVID pandemic ... IDK what to say. How can a Govt. require students to go to school in this situation either they are off their mind or this is intentional to reduce their population lol. ;)

Your goverment must take the necessary steps to solve this pandemic.

As all of you already know, covid 19 has severely impacted many things/people ever since it started. People, including me, had to significantly change their day to day routine because of this. And hence, my own (and im sure many of you guys’) day to day routine was forced to take a complete turn (change).

let’s start by mentioning my weekday routine before covid 19 started:

i’d get up at 5am, take a shower, brush my teeth, dress up, that sort of stuff.

then i would go and have me a quick breakfast (sometimes i would skip this altogether due to the lack of time... i know, not the healthiest of things to do... but I cannot do much about it when time is lacking!)

then I’d head of to school. And stay there up to 4pm. And only then do I return back home.

from there on, do any work i have to get done, watch a bit of YouTube, talk to some friends, and off to sleep i go.

however, with covid 19, things have changed quite a bit!

i now wake up much later since I don’t need to get ready for school, just online classes... which are stills annoying since they also last till 4pm.

then once that’s done I usually just watch YouTube all day long and do the insane amounts of work assigned to us. (Yes, the work load actually increased with covid19!!!!)

then I pretty much stay up much later than usual and play games on my ps4 until i get tired and eventually go to sleep.

obviously from what i have written above you might not see any huge differences... but there’s much more to it that’s too hard to type. Just know that things are VERY different now than they used to be before covid 19 was a thing.

on that note, stay safe and do everything in your power to protect yourself and others from this dreadful disease. Wear masks, wash your hands regularly, use hand sanitizers, avoid contact with people, keep a safe distance and don’t leave your house unless it’s necessary. If everyone cooperates, we can end this pandemic and go back to our normal lives! But the opposite goes if we don’t care about it, things will get much worse and this nightmare won’t end anytime soon.
