Last year, first they predicted Corona will be controlled within a year. Basically, by now it should have been controlled. Then they said it will take longer because of delays in Vaccine projects. But now vaccines are out there but yet it's not under control. So many this is the new normal and have to live with it. So far how does this affected your life and business?

I think this has affected the Web Hosting industry too. I'm a freelance developer and I have seen many of my clients who are connected to tourism industry are so badly affected. Some even stopped paying for their websites.

There is no hard blow for hosting companies, some do see a decline, but it does not have a really great impact, if we look at the figures of Hostlease, we see an increase of approximately 17% with sales, so in principle things are going well for us and therefore we can we also keep LNB-Hosting running. If you are a provider that provides free hosting and barely manages to generate revenue, it can become difficult for a provider, the intention is that your customers pay the costs and you provide the services. As PSKHosting said they had to close their doors because of COVID-19 but that's just big bullshit because why are we climbing the corona with 17% more sales? There is no reason to close your company yourself because of the corona, so no, that is nonsense.

If you make hosting your business, there is little reason for you to close doors as your upper provider didn't hike the price(except cPanel) but if you make the hosting as nonprofit(like Gigarocket) then it is possible to close doors as your income might be affected by the pandemic,However still little possibility - unless you use cPanel, again. The VPS prices didn't go really high recently, but busy in real life might be the reason.
